GENDER PAY GAP REPORTING

The Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017 require the reporting of the difference between average earnings of male and female employees. In the first year of reporting requirements the Barton Grange Group Gender Pay Gap report is as follows:

Women’s hourly rate is 14.9% lower (mean) and 5.89% lower (median) than man’s hourly rate.

The distribution of male and female employees at each pay quartile shows;

  • Upper quartile 57% male and 43% female
  • Upper middle quartile 42% male and 58% female
  • Lower middle quartile 34% male and 66% female
  • Lower quartile 31% male and 69% female
No bonus payments were awarded in the year ending 5th April 2017.
